Project planning

Packaging & Logistics

Freight planning starts with component geometry and protection requirements, then follows the route from production to the final site.

What this means for a project

Match packaging, container strategy and inland access to the selected building system. Final performance, dimensions, scope and program are confirmed only after project inputs and local requirements have been reviewed.

Export protection

Container loading strategy

Quarantine packaging

Port-to-site route planning

Information needed for review

A useful first review needs the project location, intended building use, quantity, approximate floor area, number of storeys, target timing and any available drawings or tender documents.

Project inputs

Brief, drawings, site information, program and required supply scope.

Local review

Design criteria, professional appointments, approvals and site delivery conditions.

Responsibility boundary

The China supply team coordinates the agreed building-system scope and supporting documentation. Appointed local professionals remain responsible for local code interpretation, approvals and professional sign-off. Local contractors remain responsible for site execution and safety unless a written contract states otherwise.
