Can the proposed system be reviewed by the appointed Saudi project team, imported through the applicable product and shipment process, delivered to the site, installed by the appointed local parties and handed over with clear responsibility?
Best-fit buyers
Large government, Giga-project and energy owners commonly apply independent prequalification, local-content, financial and supplier requirements. ExportPrefab does not imply direct eligibility. A practical early route is coordination with an appropriately qualified Saudi contractor or EPC.
Best-fit projects and less-suitable conditions
Potentially strong fit
- Repetitive workforce accommodation
- Camp bedrooms and support facilities
- Site offices and industrial support buildings
- Repeated low-rise accommodation
- Hospitality guestroom clusters subject to operator and consultant review
May fit after review
- Residential developments
- Schools, clinics and community facilities
- Coastal resorts
- Projects requiring high finish, complex acoustics or brand standards
- Volumetric systems with unverified inland transport routes
Less suitable when
- No Saudi design, supervising or construction parties are available
- The project expects a permit-ready building without local project design
- The route, crane or site cannot accept the proposed module or package
- A highly bespoke one-off building removes the benefits of repetition
- The buyer requires direct Giga-project or government eligibility that has not been obtained
System selection by project use
No system is automatically the best choice. The recommendation follows review of the project and local delivery responsibilities.
| Project use | Panelized | Flat-pack | Volumetric | Required review |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Workforce accommodation | May suit flexible layouts and shipping efficiency | May suit repeated units and site assembly | May suit high repetition and factory completion | Site labour, route, crane, fire, thermal and MEP inputs |
| Industrial and site facilities | May suit varied support buildings | May suit standard repeat units | Conditional on access and lifting | HSE, utilities, relocation and maintenance |
| Hospitality | May suit design flexibility | May suit repeated room structures | May suit repeated guestrooms and wet-area coordination | Brand, acoustic, waterproofing, fire, FF&E and mock-up |
| Residential | Project review required | Project review required | Project review required | Local design, use, market expectations and approval path |

Three compliance layers
Import and product compliance
SABER requirements apply to products and shipments according to their classification, HS code and relevant Saudi technical regulations. ExportPrefab supports the preparation of manufacturing, material, testing and shipment information. The Saudi importer or other authorized party is responsible for the applicable registration and submission process.
Source-controlled claims: SA-SABER-PRODUCT-SHIPMENTBuilding-system evidence and project engineering
ExportPrefab does not represent any building as generically SBC certified. Applicable requirements depend on the project location, use, occupancy, height, structural system, fire strategy, energy strategy and authority requirements. We provide system data and supporting information for review by the appointed Saudi professionals.
Source-controlled claims: SA-SBC-PROJECT-REVIEWLocal permit, authority review and final acceptance
Building permits, local professional sign-off, site supervision, inspections and occupancy approval are project-specific Saudi responsibilities unless a verified written contract expressly states otherwise.
Source-controlled claims: SA-PERMIT-PROJECT-SPECIFIC, SA-OCCUPANCY-PROJECT-SPECIFICCountry-specific climate, hazard and site inputs
Unknown inputs are recorded as unknown. ExportPrefab does not select statutory design parameters on behalf of the appointed local professional.

Frequently asked questions
Are your buildings SBC certified?
No building is presented as generically SBC certified. Applicable Saudi Building Code requirements are project-specific. ExportPrefab provides system information and supporting documents for review by the appointed Saudi design and supervising professionals.
Can ExportPrefab obtain the Saudi building permit?
ExportPrefab does not normally act as the Saudi permit applicant. The owner and appointed Saudi project parties manage the local permit process. We support them with the agreed system, manufacturing and technical information.
Who acts as the Saudi importer?
The importer must be identified for each project. It may be the owner, main contractor, distributor or another authorised Saudi party. ExportPrefab does not act as importer of record unless a project-specific written contract establishes that role.
Does every component need a SABER certificate?
The applicable route depends on product classification, HS code and the relevant Saudi technical regulations. The Saudi importer and appointed conformity parties must confirm the requirements for the actual products and shipment.
Do you install buildings in Saudi Arabia?
Installation responsibility is agreed project by project. ExportPrefab may provide installation documents, training or supervision within the contracted scope. Local work must be carried out by appropriately appointed Saudi parties unless a verified contract states otherwise.
Can you provide a SAR-per-square-metre price?
A preliminary range can only be prepared after the building use, location, scale, specification and delivery scope are understood. A factory-only square-metre price is not a reliable measure of final installed cost.
Do you have completed projects in Saudi Arabia?
No completed Saudi project is presented as verified unless it appears in the Projects section with a verified record and the correct authenticity label.
Are you an approved supplier for NEOM, Red Sea Global or Aramco?
ExportPrefab does not claim approved-vendor status for a named organisation unless a current, verifiable approval record is available for publication or controlled review. Registration or prequalification does not guarantee tender invitations or business.
Can you work with our Saudi EPC or engineering office?
Yes. The intended delivery model is to coordinate the China-side system and manufacturing package with the owner's appointed Saudi EPC, design office, supervising office, importer and installer.
What do you need for an initial review?
Provide the project location, intended use, approximate size or quantity, current design stage, target completion period and expected China supply scope. Unknown items can be marked I don't know yet.
